When this all started airlines step up said “hey throw us some loot or we are going to have to lay off tons of people, we see it getting better and want to be there when it’s better.” Mmmm well here we are in June mmm and I’m pretty sure 500,000 people going through TSA isn’t better. So yah man. Some portion of people were furloughed in March... we don’t know the number but I’m guessing the fly on the wall in the meeting with Munchkin and Trumpy, the airlines said throw some loot our way or we are furloughing (insert number). I cannot imagine that number as changed very much. Especially when there has not been a single piece of good news about the travel industry.
