They were actively weeding out anyone that presented any prospect of leaving for the airlines. I would bet serious money on NJA not hiring a single pilot on active furlough with a major. If they start requiring letters of resignation before sending a CJO, that might change things.

If you are current 121 and hate it, even if you have zero intention of ever leaving NJA once you get there, your chances of getting a fair shake are drastically less than a 135 pilot.
