The fact that Compass is no more is basically OBE by the fact that more than enough airplanes are parked. 2) If they furlough anyone hired prior to Dec 2016, then they are not allowed to fly anything beyond 70 seat aircraft. Whether that means an MEL to remove 6 seats from service or physical removal hasn’t been tested, and the UNA designation on the most recent displacement bid, and the number associated with furlough warning notices, both stop short of crossing that threshold. It appears, currently, that Delta could run 100% of its authorized DCI aircraft (subtracting the former Compass birds) without worrying how many mainline aircraft are parked.
