Furloughs don’t start until 10/1 if at all. It amazes me that some people think they were furloughed today, 7/1, when the letter clearly states the company’s intent to furlough on 10/1.
So, furlough pay starts 10/1 and runs for the duration the PWA allows or the company unilaterally decides to implement.
I have a bunch of family and friends that think I’ve been furloughed for 3 months already.
