In one paragraph the success of reaching an ER agreement, followed in the next with. It doesn't matter anyway because we are still going to need to furlough 2500 pilots. Seems to me there is plenty in their control. Also to try to get out of 2 months or furlough pay for the senior UNA speaks volumes for how they value this pilot group.
I just reread the letter. I don’t see anything about still needing to furlough. Every company communication has stated they hope to avoid furloughs. The WARN letters are for negotiations leverage to get a reduced ALV to avoid furloughs. Nothing more or less. How it all plays out remains to be seen.
