They can't just waive a magic force majeure wand and do whatever they want. Their contract spells out what they can do under FM. My guess is that it is cheaper for them to violate scope and pay out the grievances than any other option.
I do agree that they will never bring RJs in house. It makes 0 sense to do that when you have an entire group of pilots already doing that job for a fraction of the price.
Thats fair I’m not intimately familiar with FM just something I had been hearing about and after reading into it some formed a theory or possibility but in no way do I know exactly what is underlined in Deltas contract with its pilots.
