October 1st is the soonest, but is there anything stopping the company from just pushing the affective date back a few days?
Idk how your system works. Would the last paycheck covered by CARES be received Oct 1 or Oct 15th? If it’s the latter, might that have something to do with the timing of the 90d window? Wouldn’t put it past any airline to try and have folks work through the monthly carryover period before furloughing.
