These are unprecedented times. Personally, I find it suspect we have a minimum for safety and then move the goal posts when we really really really need it. Goal posts should have been that far back to begin with if that was the case. Is it that crazy that the company should get our opinion on our abilities before they send us off to potentially endanger people? I mean, safety first, right?
As I stated I think a pilot should be able to refuse a extension. He should however give notice so the company can get him in the sim if they choose. Would you consider it ok to simply no show the trip and demand to be paid? Is one hour enough notice?
