Delta hasn't announced any flight attendant furloughs but sent out 2558 pilot furlough notices.
My guess is they are looking at international being severely restricted until either this thing fizzles out/Hurd immunity or we get a viable vaccine. With each country mandating a two week quarantine to fly there who’s going to want to go?
I would surmise we are focusing on domestic and they can easily bring back more F/A‘s if the situation changes for the better.
It’s also easier to recall them since they are trained on the whole fleet unlike a pilot who is fleet specific.

I just hope within the U.S. that we don’t start getting this two week quarantine B.S. between the states as that would kill off any domestic recovery. Looks like NY NJ and CT are leading the pack on this.
i think I read this is already killing some future bookings.
