From a somewhat junior WN guy, we had a 19 year UAL FO on the jumpseat recently. Even he was worried. The mortality rate won’t keep the public from flying—it’s the perception of the public to be in a closed in environment.

I wish all the airline CEOs would get together and create a unified campaign to advertise for the airlines together. Each of our companies had gone through great lengths to sanitize our travel system...why haven’t we had a public campaign in this matter?
