the reason DL does not plan to furlough FAs is they are non union and thus have no line guarantee. they can spread the flying around as much as they want, keeping the lower cost FAs on board, and when this is over say they did not furlough any FAs.
You mean they just lower the MMG (Or ALV in Delta speak) and then no one gets furloughed?
Wow, what an idea!
Lowering MMG (Or ALV) is a self correcting way of reducing furloughs. Too bad that will never happen here because of some greedy senior pilots.
