Yep. totally agree. Used to deal with similar issues at SNA when I flew for another carrier. All the residents want convenient service close to their homes so they can avoid going to LAX but then they complain as soon as a plane goes over their homes. God forbid you were a crew who triggered one of the dozens of noise meters in the neighborhood. Ridiculous.
