Also simply "surviving" covid doesn't mean it isn't life altering. There are still people having bad symptoms 2 or 3 months later - I know a pilot that's tested negative a long time but still struggling to breath and lungs do not look good. This was a young person who now has heavily damaged lungs. Not counted as a death, since not a death.

That’s true, on both points...to an extent. It’s been part of both sides, yes. Although I characterize Tipper Gore wanting to put explicit labels on albums and such things as you mentioned from the Right as well as different than the Left demanding, for today’s example, Goya to fire its CEO and boycot the company for simply stating his positive opinion on the president. The difference is one is personal and attempting to ruin one’s livelihood and their life in general versus trying to put labels on CD covers. Today, we see that the Right doesn’t try to do such silly things anymore. But we do see the Left getting more and more militant with their cancel culture, mostly when it’s not their side though. Apparently you can lean Left (Jackson) and make antisemitic tweets but still keep your job.

As for COVID symptoms, report that too! Along with the demographics of those people including any comorbidities. Like I said, more information is better for context. They should report people who have completely recovered along with those who were asymptotic to begin with. All information should be readily available and reported by all outlets.
