Total Time is total time that’s what the word means.

FWIW the OE consolidation being seat time was a rather recent change. I think that happened maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Previous to that you logged everything. You are absolutely a required Crewmember on an augmented crew and can and should log it all. As I said the fellow that logged 2/3’s got people scratching their heads in my FedEx interview.
Example: can the RFO log PIC while the CA is in the bunk? NO, the CA is still the PIC and logging it.
