You say that the lack of mask wearing is not to blame, yet in the same sentence you talk about bars and beaches, where nobody wears masks. Dropping a number or a statistics figure doesn't turn your rhetoric into a CDC conclusion. Also, as far as I know, FL has not mandated masks, just recommends wearing them.
Counties in FL have mandated masks, such as broward, I was just there. And their stats have not gotten better. We have a mandate in NC and SC and our stats have gotten worse, ACCORDING TO OUR HEALTH OFFICIALS, not the news. I did not say only protests, I included bars, beaches etc, All of these widespread gatherings have contributed to the increase in positives.
I don’t care about politics, only data, so stop politicizing what I say for your narrative.
per cdc:
there is a .1% chance of contracting Covid. Once you have it, a 5% chance of dying. There are 350m ppl in the us. .001% have tested positive and .0004% have died, mostly those who have reduced immunity.

As the positives go up and death rates go down, the odds will get better. That’s what we were told in the beginning and it’s happening.
