Yeah he/she used pretty inflamatory language but the point is valid...that there are certainly agendas out there.

People who take Fauci et al on face value are just as at fault of not using critical thinking than those who take Fox and CNN on face value.
It's one thing to be critical of Dr. Fauci. That's fine, though I do think it's strange to say he is a "shady dude" and thus untrustworthy, considering who is in the White House. However, I don't consider vague suggestions that he is untrustworthy as really making a valid point. To argue that Dr. Fauci is acting politically and with a political agenda, despite the fact he has been a public servant since 1984, is hard to believe. Might it be that the one treating the pandemic politically rather than scientifically is the person who has to face reelection in a few months rather than the man who has had the same job since 1984? How is Fauci shady? What agenda has he demonstrated? What interest does he have in acting politically?

It's funny you mention critical thinking while trying to normalize this ignorance-driven skepticism. Saying that "the covid numbers are fairy tails", with all the objective evidence available, is irresponsible and stupid, and counterproductive to ending this nonsense. Maybe you think that's a valid point, but I don't.
