Again, to sit home and do nothing. I haven’t flown since the beginning of May. Our union hit this one out of the park. They literally could not have done a better job.
1 day of reserve equals 4.12 hours of pay. This is essentially 2 days off with a gain of 3.24 hours for it. While I’d rather have my 5 hours back vs 2 days off, if it’s part of the puzzle that keeps pilots gainfully employed I’ll gladly take the 7 month hit.
