He is right about the ZED status. It’s already an issue.

Quote: Southern/Atlas just gave all their pilots 10% raises. Granted they were among the lowest paid in ACMI, until Sun Country and Mesa decided to bring their mess into another sandbox.
you guys weren’t going to give up anything. Management already had a contract for 737 flying. It was coming either way. The difference is, now it was a new fleet type and there was no status quo. They HAD to get a deal with you guys. Once the CBA becomes amendable they have a CBA for 737 flying and can just sit status quo in section six for years and years. They have zero pressure to make a good deal. Nobody could order you guys to go do a job you’ve never done before, they had to get a contract with you. Now, you can be ordered to work.

so, you’re love of flying outweighs your need for fair wages and work rules. The market is what you negotiate for. What looked like a great deal to a bunch of regional pilots is now the worst contract in our segment of the industry. ALPA did you no favors either. They just did Kalitta and ATI contracts 3 years ago. They knew you should have been getting positive space travel to/from home and hotels the minute you leave home. They also should know that allowing the company to use your employee travel benefit puts your entire workgroups ZED status in jeapordy.

Your MEC & NC should resign.
