I still didnt see any protection In there for the early outs if we go chapter 11. I dont know if there is such a protection but hopefully its addressed so people know the risk.
Actually, there is protection built into it. The early out pilot is still on the seniority list until retirement and considered an employee. The downside is a pilot volunteering for the program can't take their lump sum until they actually retire.
