I think alot of AA pilots are drawing an unnecessary conclusion based off the poor timing of the WARN notices and this announcement. I dont think this agreement is leading to the announcements at all. If anything, I think itll mean less RJs flying around the NE which is probably good news for everyone.
I also think Jetblue pilots spiking the football, should also consider that this could really stunt the growth of any trans-atlantic flight plans. I know they are still stating that London is a go, but it wouldnt take much to delay that again. And even if London does happen, expanding the network to other cities makes less sense now in this environment and with this agreement. If you felt "330s are coming soon", they may have just gotten here just painted in AA colors and in the shape of a 777.
Lets all get along, and hope and fight to keep this from becoming anything more than a codeshare. NO MERGER!
