Cancel culture is personal, against specific people who say or write something that offends the Left. They even do it to the Lefties who aren’t left enough. Google Harper’s letter for an example of lefties complaining of their own side’s cancel culture. Then look up for response article denying it while saying the signatories of the letter should be cancelled.


I think you are confusing the rabid Left who literally try to get people fired for saying something they disagree with. The Goya CEO is another example. The Right, when they don’t like something, they simply don’t patronize it. But they aren’t out there on social media trying to ruin people’s lives.

This is the last I’ll say about this but if you don’t see the current cancel culture for what it is, I don’t know what else to say. There are example almost daily of someone being cancelled for saying something the Left doesn’t agree with.
