While you are right about that, it also means SWA didn't have to offer squat to the pilots, every furlough is half a displacement into an airplane everyone is typed and current in. The fact SWA offered a package generous enough for 24% of the pilots to take it does say something about "culture" (I'm at NK, and I think they will withhold my last paycheck until I FedEx HQ my ipad and ID if I get furloughed). It does sound like you got something further from SWA than I was expecting considering every furlough with the current amount of international flying is probably at least 4 full training events....
