My conclusion (question actually) came from this statement:

Give Ds full control of government (both houses and POTUS) and they may decide that maximum monthly wage payment via CARES money is $5K/mo.
They didn't ask for limits in CARES 1, so why would they require limits in CARES 2 if they had full control? We wouldn't have gotten jack squat if the Ds didn't control the HoR.

I agree that there are no real friends in politics, but there is really NO DOUBT which party's policies, legislation, and actions are more favorable to our career as airline pilots.

You also seem to conflate 'corporate welfare' with our 'salaries'. As I tried to point out, those are very different things. You and I are NOT Scott Kirby. We are labor, and therefore should support 'labor welfare'.
