That's our problem as pilots. Yes, we are labor. So in that spirit we just so happen to fall in favor of many of the policies the Democratic party has historically supported over our careers. On an individual basis, we often fall into the top 2% and therefore get hit with higher taxes/don't qualify for exemptions/refunds others in the "labor" workforce seemingly often do. Make no mistake, our being "labor" ultimately helps us more than it hurts in the big scheme of things. Absent the current POTUS (whom is not a true Republican), I've been able to get behind most of the policies of Republican administrations as a moderate Democrat. The areas I've often disagreed with most involve voter suppression and union representation suppression (right to work states) along a few socially conservative initiatives. I look forward to Biden being a 1 term bridge to a 2024 election where our two parties put fourth new, non babyboomer ideas and choices for the future.
