It was fixed/negotiated with the insurance companies for that period of time. Not necessarily after august. The problem becomes your actually considered unemployed when under the current f9 structured cola. They might be looking to fix that? Other carriers under Multi year leaves have. Knowing that anyone that is considering a refi and a longer cola might want to do the refi as soon as possible. Benefits need a close look at because what we don’t want is a 400k Covid medical bill because someone that thought they had insurance doesn’t because they are on a long term cola.
