As far as I am concerned, the flow is essentially gone and everyone should get that into their minds. There are so many things that will either delay it so long it won't be worth anything, eliminate it altogether through BK or just flat out be to long for people to wait, that it might as well just go away at this point.
We all took the gamble and came to a WO for the flow, primarily, sadly we got burned and it didn't work out. Time to start working on exit plans or come to terms that you will be at this airline, with this management, with this toothless union for at least ten years. As a clarification, I dont blame the union for this, we just dont have any bite in our bark at this level because they know we are all trying to get out and dont want anything on our records. Now that things are more bleak, who knows, people may be willing to roll the dice a little more now.
For those that may get lucky and time this just right, great, but that is going to be a very small percentage. AA has sent out their WARN letters as well now, so all of those pilots get hired back before a flow starts up again.
At the end of the day, you either need to LOVE this lifestyle enough to come to terms with being a regional pilot for ever, or at least a much longer time than you ever thought, or start working on another career.
