As for everyone mocking the flow, I’m not sure what the “I told you so” is all about. You could have 5000TPIC, 3 PHD’s, run your own homeless shelter and have a space shuttle type rating, and you still won’t be flying for a Legacy carrier in the next 3 years minimum.
Thats not the one I am referring too. I am referring to the one that gave us like 50% of each new hire class had to come from Envoy (this percentage could be wrong, I am trying to go off memory here). This would be the offer before AA got ****ed, sent the planes to Compass and offered us our current contract. Essentially the pilot group overplayed their hand, thought they meant more to AA and were quickly spanked for it, pretty hard.
I dont think I am saying "I told you so" and I may have to go back and re-read comments, but I dont recall anyone saying it either, perhaps I missed one. I think we are all disappointed it didn't work out and are all coming to the conclusion that we need to give up that idea and focus more on hard contract improvements, given our current sentence at Envoy.
