To point #1, it is part of their job. And if I take care of my own luggage, then it justifies not tipping.
To point #2, as already mentioned, their financial problem isn't my problem. Many people don't make any money like the maid or the clerk, we still dont tip them. So why do van drivers get special treatment?
There is a third point.

3. The fact that some of these fanatics have such a self righteous belief that they can determine “everything” they need to know about someone just because they don’t tip one night. Last I checked we have evolved as a society to not judge someone based off a single character trait.

Again, I tip most of the time, when I don’t it’s a valid reason to me. What others think of me is their cross to carry. My sole argument to this as of late is that I find it repugnant that people claim they know someone based off of ones tip or no tip.

I wonder where those most vitriolic about not tipping work. I just hope I can sleep tonight knowing Lonestar won’t have dinner with me. Whatever shall I do.
