Sources aside, you should take a look at what those corrections really mean. It means that the system is actually auditing the causes of death. If anything, this gives
more confidence that the death counts are accurate. You should feel good about that.
But you won't. You look at these exceptions, 600 deaths in 154,000 (0.4% error) and say that the whole thing is a coordinated conspiracy to make Trump look bad. How sad.
I am just pointing out that if a ME can pass off a motorcycle accident as COVID then what is stopping them from saying cases of the flu or pneumonia were COVID. There have definitely been states that seemed to be inflating their numbers, At one point NY added people retroactively to the Covid count as long as you died with any Covid symptoms regardless of how you tested.
hospitals are still financially incentivized to report COVID over other cases and things like what I cited are still happening. How you can see example after example of medical examiners passing blatant non Covid deaths off as Covid and not think they are doing the same with regards to other diseases is beyond me.
to be clear I’m not an anti masker or a pro trumper, Covid is real and not a hoax, but there is definitely evidence the numbers are being inflated which only further feeds the fear porn put out by the media ( and makes it harder for my employer to survive)
