One positive is that in March it completely tanked. We then saw the positive trend, and reasonable expected to be over 1 million by mid July. Then the “surge” or whatever we would like to call it happened, and stalled all progress for the most part. BUT.. it didn’t put it back into the gutter. This is the “new normal” for now, and while it’s crap, it’s crap with sprinkles on it.
I’m starting to see some light here too. Almost hit 800k yesterday. The news media has been relentless with their coverage of Covid surges in various states. The northeast has mandatory quarantines for a number of popular states. Some places are even shutting back down or rolling things back. Even with all this, airline travel is steadily increasing. I was at Kennedy the other day, and it was as busy as I’ve seen it in along time. I think I’m starting to see a glimmer of hope here.
