At the end of the day training is about safety, and just like flying out on the line, bad apples have no place in the training department where people are there to learn, get reps, and hone their skills

The instructor in question is very very unlikely to be in the 175 training department anytime soon. As pointed out, they aren’t throwing out senior, experienced and proven instructors for a new transition guy.
