Ol 3 cups! The man, the legend. He's definitely got his own way of moving through the world. Strange cat but not a bad guy.

One of the funniest conversations I ever only got to hear one side of happened back when the "Mexican Airforce" used to take over Terminal E every morning. 3 Cups and I had just come in from Mexico and parked on a hard stand. Getting into the building, the agent takes the paperwork and says "oh ops just called, they need you to repo the plane to B when you get done with customs". I didn't care, not unusual and we had the usual 4 hour sit anyway. Just means now I'm getting breakfast at Panchitos instead of Papasitos and get a little bonus repo pay. But this was NOT part of 3 Cups' plan! What ensues is an epic round Robin phone call between hub coordinators, ops managers, dispatchers and just about anyone he could think of. After about 40 minutes of typical 3 Cups' snarling, condescending style of arguing and accusations against everyone of incompetence, stupidity and laziness, we are back in the seat for the repo and he's whining about them wasting his cell phone minutes. Can't make it up.
