American hasn’t told their folks with job offers who are awaiting class to reapply. Those pilots have simply been told that when hiring resumes, they’ll be offered a class. It’s a classless move on Alaska’s part. Wgaf if SWA did it too? That doesn’t make it any less slimy. But hey, bravo Alaska.
I agree it’s a ridiculous thing to do, but in all reality assuming Alaska survives there won’t be new hire classes for a very very long time.
