So you got the cares paycheck. Still paid the instructors. Still paid the students. Still paid for the classroom space. And simulators were already prepaid. So the competent group of leaders had the instructors get paid and do nothing. The students get paid and do nothing. The class rooms sit empty. And the simulators go unused. Awesome. Sounds like a winning strategy. Good luck.

Here’s the next 6 months:

First EWR flying not coming back. After october 1 a bunch of mgmt heads will roll. Incompetence will continue. Chaos will reign. EWR will be closing. Pilots will go fly cargo. They’ll start hiring hire street captains. There will still be a training backlog. The growth wont happen and the flying will be given to someone else.
