The Passing of MEC Chairman Andy Hughes
Fellow Pilots:
It is with profound sadness that we share with you the passing of our MEC chairman, Captain Andy Hughes.
While Captain Hughes’ battle against cancer was swift, his tenacity and dedication to this pilot group remained steadfast. Andy passed last evening surrounded by his family and close friends. We will be publishing a longer article in the near future with a comprehensive look at Andy’s long career as an ALPA volunteer and commercial airline pilot.
