Dare to dream anyway.
if scope allows it’s a lot easier to boost flying at regionals than majors, especially after furloughs. The same reason it’s a lot easier to furlough regional pilots vs mainline. Having just one or 2 fleets makes training events a lot easier. If a major wants to add or subtract a large percentage of pilots it take tons of training events. At a regional it’s simply initial or upgrade, and not everyone will need it. A mid seniority captain won’t need any training as there is nothing to move into. At a major it can be a retraining for just about everyone. That mid seniority captain on the 320 might be able to bid the 76 and the guy on the 76 can go to the 77 etc etc way more of a headache.
