You do realize the 25% travel demand today that are traveling are almost ALL leisure, mostly people flying to see families? That's why I bought tickets on Spirit for my wife and kids. Go ahead, and start throwing off 3 yr old kids for not wearing a mask. Watch that 25% current travel demand fall to 10%. Business travel is dead. The little flying people are doing is mostly to see family, leisure. Careful what you wish for. Keep this up, and those who can drive will drive. Then you'll act shocked when airlines cut even more flights and up the number of furlough letters.
It is what it is. I wouldn’t travel on an airplane with my 3 year old now either. No need to get emotional, those are just facts on what most parents with a toddler would do. If that somehow means more furloughs, then so be it. If you actually think you can personally help turn around the airline industry by flying with your family, then I wish you the best of luck.
