You know why the mask rule gets stricter? It’s because people expect it. You’re in the minority if you think people should have the option to wear masks on a plane.

Now the almost 3 year old situation is a difficult one. It’s a no-win scenario. The anti-maskers scream “See!! Nobody will want to fly is!” Meanwhile another huge group is relieved that Jetblue is taking the mask rule seriously.

In the end this is a nothing story. Sure the PR department has to worry about it but it’s a small blip in the larger scheme. Not even close to the negative PR of the Dr Dao beat down.But then again United did that to the poor man, so.. to be expected.
