Pretty simple, one seeks to just boycott a product or service while cancel culture seeks to de-plaform, fire or destroy those that they want to cancel. Its the difference between just disagreeing with someone and wanting to harm someone for the way they think.

ActBlue is a left wing organization that takes the money, in may no be "the democrat part" but it's still a left wing group being financed and bankrolled by a left wing donation website. Not a boogyman at all, a legitimate concern given the rampant fraud that been exposed by these sort of groups.

People are agitated by a company taking a side of a political group that's rhetoric has led to violence. Its no different than if a company took the side of a milita or some other right wing group. I'm sure you'd have a problem with that, given a news network sets you off.
I agree the petition is probably a bad idea, only because the BLM people will most likely try and dox the people the signed it and attempt to have them fired, they behave like those involved in the Chinese cultural revolution at this point.
