Is there really that much compensation beyond simply multiplying your flight time by your hourly rate? Also, what is a good number to multiply the hourly rate by to get an estimate of the gross pay/month. Making 51k at 35/hr it would be over 120+.
In general, if you multiply the hourly rate by 1000 you'll be close. If you instruct in the sim or IOE/check airman, add 20%. There are some ways to game the system depending on your airline contract or if one is an hours *****.
