Well, I don't think the proposal is pathetic, and I've previously itemized my thinking (on this forum) behind where we were, and where we are. I'm not going to repeat that.

I didn't personally negotiate this pay package... that was handled by the negotiating team. SAPA as a whole voted to put it to the pilots for vote.

Certainly, my personal choice would not have been to give myself a 0000000000000000000000.32% pay increase, but I do support the overwhelming majority who will get a measurable amount of money that we weren't scheduled to get. I voted to let the pilots decide, and I personally voted for the package. A huge, overwhelming majority of the pilots also voted for it.

I will add a bit of perspective of my airline internet experience. It seems that this medium attracts a certain individual that clearly doesn't match the mainstream line pilot at SkyWest. The folks who posted here were probably 95% against the pay proposal, yet in reality were only 25% of the folks who actually cast their vote against it. I'd suggest a somewhat similar comparison to the ALPA vote.

Time to move on from the pay issue.
