There has to be fully 1/3 of this pilot group that would be elated with a JB/AA merger despite it being a total train wreck. Their egos come first. The thought of having an AA background on their facebook page, with them and the Mrs toasting in First Class would be too much for them. Being at a "real airline" where they could list their Aunt Bev for Business Class Standby on a CRJ70000 out of Shreveport would be a game changer. Guys, REAL AIRLINE not just a marketing company! Mind you within 10 years we'd probably be reliving the next economic downturn with massive AA furloughs again.
