WSJ had an article with the numbers. Off the top of my head, 9 unarmed black peple killed, 16 unarmed white people killed by police in 2019. something like 2800 black on black murders, and 1000 black abortions a day (WSJ didnt mention abortions but it is our generations moral equivilant of slavery, completely wrong yet people just overlook it). BTW, some people put the number of deaths at the hands of police closer to 30 black and 60 white, statistics are always easy to twist but the point remains the same: Even if it was 30 deaths a year that is a small fraction of Black Lives being killed each year compared to other means.
BLM's focus is on those 9 unarmed killed by the police who in the vast majority could have prevented their own deaths by not resisting the police to the point of complete stupidity.
BTW, I have no problem with Black Lives Matter but the 1984 style group think is getting to be hard to swallow and causes many people to push back. Much like kneeling in the NFL, I was cool with it and supported it but the second it turned into YOU MUST kneel or you are a racist I was like "F that" and they lost my support. Everyday that peaceful protests turned violent BLM lost support. When it become "if you dont support BLM the organization you are a racist" is the day I said to myself "F that".
I personally dont give a rats blankety blank if some FA wears a BLM pin but AA just opened themselves up a big old can of worms. A really, really, really bad idea but hey, I just drive the plane.
