I don’t think that most people are trying to destroy and divide, it’s that they truly believe the PC narrative and to question it’s effectiveness is heresy. Having a lower admission standard for a top tier school makes people feel good, they get to show others that they care, and they honestly believe that they are helping. What they won’t admit to is that by admitting the student with lower academic qualifications based on some other criteria, they are setting them up for failure. That person would be better served going to a state university where they have the educational background to succeed and graduate. The modern PC culture is more about feelings and the illusion or being correct than actually being right.
