I have never heard of that error. I believe your purchase entitled you to 2 installs. It appears you used one for your current laptop. If you have a work computer or other desktop, install on that system also. Create a backup file from your laptop of all the data you have entered. Transfer this file to the other computer and open it. Try the same thing that caused the error on the laptop. If you have no problems then your laptop is jacked up not LBP. If that is the case slick your hard drive on the laptop and reinstall everything it took you years to accumulate. Back up your files to a portable HD first of course. It is painful but you really should nuke your hard drive every 1-2 years for it to run perfect. A clean XP install should fix your problem. If you get a new laptop you should be able to beg LBP to allow another install based on your trouble call history.
