Any kind of theft should be an auto-terminate imo. I am surprised anyone is taking the opposite position, even thkooj.
Imagine flying with someone who would throw you under the bus and lie to protect his own certificate at your expense, and something goes wrong.
Imagine leaving the cockpit to go to the lav with a known thief who allegedly laughs and brags about stealing from other pilots at the controls.
