Didn’t the call say they don’t have financing for the ejets? American is flying 45% of its schedule for October last I read..and United 40%. Even if he could float something..no company can float that. There will be concessions whether we volunteer for them or not. The downgrades will be affected the most. That many furloughs will touch almost everyone except those at the very top of the seniority list..it will disrupt the whole operation with base and equipment transfers etc..which people will incur extra costs to commute and on and on. Those dead set against concessions be careful what you wish for.
Dead set on no concessions. Making $1700 a month is not worth keeping this job. When you consider the costs associated with sitting a reserve gig, that’s where you’ll be at as a second year FO. It’s not worth the time for that pay. . . How do you not see that?
assuming an average of $250 for a crash pad the take home pay is about $1700 sitting reserve for a 60 hour min guarantee. You need to find a job paying $14 an hour working 40 hours a week to beat that. It’s not going to be that hard to do. . .
