Pretty silly to start fighting when you have no idea what is really in it. What if it also resets the look back for RJ scope compliance. Or some other poison pill. You might want to keep your powder dry till you get more concrete info.
Is this your first airline job? We know what's in it NOW. The late rumors are
always the AIP. And the late rumors indicate a big suck for a big chunk of the pilot group in the short term and all pilots in the long term. This group gets this, this other group gets that and another group gets to line their pockets!
Maybe it will all go away in two years but probably it won't.
We fly, they manage. Why is that so difficult for pilots to understand? This is their problem. They still have a LOT of money and access to aLOT more. Meanwhile, we have a contract. This perpetuates the idiotic cycle of us bailing them out. This sucks on dozens of levels.
Powder dry? We should just flush it down the toilet since we don't have the smarts or the balls to use it.
