This is a really good point. They are squeezing the people who are keeping this boat afloat. No pun intended. This type of behavior comes from poor leadership. JO = poor leadership. He has money, why don’t we fo ask him for a bonus right now while we risk our lives flying during COVID.
When is the union going to speak up and get our proper notice for monthly bids. If they know what the flying is going to be like next month, then why are we waiting until the last minute to bid and know our schedules? That sounds like a concession all in its self. Have we got anything in return for that?
Make no mistake. The hornets nest has been kicked. There will be stings. Sure we can force the schedule issue. But it will result in reserve lines for all as the company asserts 76 hour min for a line and the pairings don’t support it. We have to pick our battles.
