The contract is sacrosanct, or at least should be. When I was a jr maggot I took the job KNOWING I WAS CHAFF. Stuff happens in this industry. Once per decade. And suddenly you're an old guy and find out that you have toiled for 20-30 years under one concessionary contract or crisis after another.
